Our Products

KLS Class A Foam (CAFS)


  1. It is noncorrosive, biodegradable, environmentally friendly, non-protein, and nonhazardous to personnel, the earth, and all surfaces to which it is applied.
  2. It is of high quality and has the most cost-effective prices on the market today.
  3. It is blended to be the best multipurpose foam in the industry, and it will not damage equipment. It has a sweet citrus smell and a long shelf life.
  4. It uses 0.3% to 1.5% depending upon the hardness of water. It can be used with sea water. (chemical proportion may vary) It has better penetration on wood products than any other foams tested.
  5. It is a wet foam formulated to penetrate and put out a fire quickly. It Is not a dry shaving cream-type foam that allows fire to travel underneath the foam and spread through dry leaves and other elements.
  6. The primary benefit of our chemical is that it requires little or no cleanup.

KLS Class B Aqueous Film-Forming Foam AFFF (CAFS)

Used for Class B Fires, Such As Oil and Other Petrochemical-Related Fires

  1. Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF) is a fire foam with carefully concentrated formulation. It contains several anionic and nonionic foaming agents. It produces very wet foam with rapid extinguishing action at 3% to 6% mixture.
  2. It contains a very high-modified biopolymer that helps suppress re-ignition. KLS AFFF is not protein-based, which improves consistency and storage stability. It does not require fluorosurfactants to function. It will not jam the proportional, which will save downtime and money.
  3. It is non-corrosive and friendly to equipment. KLS AFFF can be used to clean up spills for training exercises without highly expensive cleanup. It is also biodegradable. It is a very good product for wood structures, wildland and forest fires at 1% to 3% mixture.
  4. It meets the requirements set forth as per industry standards to meet or exceed AFFF requirements. In addition, our formulas meet the requirements set forth for the military specification, MIL-F 24385F.

Our products do not contain any chemical subject to the reporting requirements of Section 313 of Title III of the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act of 1986 and 40 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) Parts 372.

KLS Micro Choke (CAFS)

Used for Oil Spill and Petrochemical Dispersant and Cleanup Solution

Qualities:

Uses:

  • Disperse hydrocarbons
  • Perform biological cleanup
  • Reduce volatility and initiate bioremediation of hydrocarbons in natural situations
  • Reduce odor in hydrocarbon sumps and bilges

Mechanisms:

  • Smothering fire
  • Using surfactants
  • Dissolving biological chemicals and hydrocarbons in water
  • Providing spore-forming soil organisms to begin attacking petroleum

Biological Properties:

  • It contains five species of bacteria: four spore-formers and one vegetative.
  • One gallon contains 750 billion bacteria.
  • The vegetative cells begin growing upon dilution
  • The spores germinate after 2-3 hours
  • The vegetative cells attack even aromatic hydrocarbons and asphaltenes
  • All organisms are biosafety level 1.
  • The final breakdown products of petroleum are carbon dioxide and water through degradation process. The microbes in KLS Micro Choke will grow in 5% salt solution so the same product can be used in fresh and brackish water.
